That's when it hit me. I'm going to dedicate today's blog about the beauty of Nature.
Call me crazy but this is probably my favorite nature time.
I love watching snow fall and I love how it blankets everything and mutes all sounds around.
I love how it's so soft and light and sometimes heavy.
I rarely get cold in the winter and because of that, not have much need to wear a coat from the house to the car or from the car to the store. I get it. It's cold outside...but only if you STAY outside will it harm you if you're not dressed properly.
Let's face it, if you're cold, you can always put on more clothes versus Summer.
I love storms. The louder and brighter (or darker) the better.
I love the way nature changes so quickly and turn our every day idea of life upside down. When in the morning, the day looks promising and bright to a total change in the afternoon, when it looks like a scene from "Something wicked this way comes." When I was a little girl, I'd sit in front of the window and watch the Lightening show and feel the rumble of the thunder under my bottom.
Yes, I'm crazy like that.
All of the colors are pretty, granted but with Summer nature, comes summer heat and summer bugs and I'm not a fan of either.
There's only so many clothes you can take off to get cooler in the summer.
After you've reached that point in public, you could be looking at an indecent exposure citation or permanently blinding someone. :)
Ah, the beauty of Fall. Nature's paint shop.
The weather begins to cool off so that it's bearable and every day there are new colors to see.
Too bad that the changing of the trees symbolizes death
