I started writing in my teen age years. I think I was 16 years old when I penned my first story. It was shortly after I became an addict for Harlequin and Silhouette books. I loved the short escapes they provided and of course I loved the love stories within them. That's when I decided to try creating my own stories with my friends and I in mind for the characters. When I wrote them, I created all kind of exciting situations, spanning from going back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth, to mistakenly uncovering a secret crime ring and running from the "bad guys", to just everyday people crossing paths and sparking an interest in each other. To this day, most of my books have a best friend to the heroine or hero in them. Never realized until just now that it's a throwback to my earlier days of writing.
What do you like best about writing? Creating whatever situation I want and making up shi...er, stuff. I like creating problems between the characters and working through it to reach their happily ever after ending. I like adding babies because in my world, babies created by a loving couple means a long life of bonding and happiness.

That's it for my answers but be sure to "hop" on over to my writing buddy Susan Peterson Wisnewski http://spwwrites.com to check out how she answered the same questions.
