To tantilize and arouse or stimulates desire or interest. I don't recall writing a scene where the heroine does something that would be an intentional tease moment to the hero. I like to think that most of my characters are written with strong intents that they plan to follow through on. But I think something like this idea can be woven nicely into a story. For example I'm reading a book where the heroine is working undercover as a stripper and her partner has to watch her show. I've only just begun the story but I bet that just by having to watch his partner will be a hell of a tease for him. I like this this author so I'm betting that she pulls this book off with a great story and I can't wait to continue reading it.
As we age we are exposed to several different meaning of the word.
When I was a young girl, teasing wasn't a nice thing to do and often meant that other kids were mocking/bullying another child.

As a teenager/young adult "teasing" often was associated with our hair. Especially in the 80's.
I did some major teasing to get "big" hair back then.

Now there seems to be a sexual connotation to the word.
I search high and low for a non pornagraphic picture to help demonstrate this one.
