So, here are my answers.
What is the working title of your next book?
Where did the idea come from for the book?
I love to watch Ghost hunting shows, as many series as I can. One day I was watching The Haunted Collector. This is a family run business of finding and collecting haunted items from different locations. His team consists of his daughter, son and a couple of other investigator. I wondered what the story would be if there was a romance between one of his children and an investigator.
What genre does your book fall under? It would be classified as a paranormal. My first!
Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?
When I write a new book/story, I have to have a visual image of a person to help me craft my character so I always use pictures anyway. So, I’m all prepared for this question! LOL.
What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book? This is a hard question. “Kevin Bradford falls for the boss’s daughter but can he persuade her to take a chance on loving a man outside of her race?”
Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency? It would be great if it gets picked up by an agency because I sure could use the help with promoting it.
How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? The first draft is still being written. J
What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? I don’t know of any other books with a ghost hunting paranormal bent on them. Maybe I’ll be the first one published?
Who or What inspired you to write this book? There are several things that inspired me to write this book. Other than the TV show I mentioned earlier, tackling an interracial story line makes me think that maybe I can do a just job using some real life experiences.
What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? It’s not too often that you see many interracial relationships on the bookshelves. There are a few authors out there that do this challenge very well. I hope to be able to do a decent job. In addition, the ghost hunting aspect is a fresh idea. It doesn’t fit the typical paranormal flash of today (vampires, changelings, mystical creatures)
